The establishment of the current National Cement Share Company (NCSC), the former Diredawa Cement & Limestone Factory, dates back to 1936 G.C. Established by Italians, during occupation in 1936, and being the pioneering cement producing and selling factory in the country, the factory has played a key role in national development for 8 decades now.
