Fishing Tour Program to Omo Valley

Day 1: Addis- Arba Minch- Fishing
Early in the morning Fly to Arbaminch from Addis Ababa. Then continue driving to Lake Chamo for the late afternoon Fishing. Enjoy and obsere the fresh air and the view over lakes Abaya and Chamo andStart fishing at Lake Chamo.

Day 2: Fishing at Chamo Lake
Early morning Drive to Chamo Lake for Fishing. Fishing takes place primarily during morning. Our main fishing technique is trolling, or you can try your luck at catching Nile Perch from the swampy lake Chamo Shore. Guidance from our experienced guide will have a great chance to capture this unique African giant. Besides the leisure time by fishing, you will also enjoy a boat trip on Lake Chamo, to see hippos and 6-meter-long crocodiles.

Day 3: Arba Minch- Turmi, Hammer tribe town
After breakfast you will be driven to Turmi, visiting an interesting village on the way. Upon arrival in Turmi check into a lodge. After a brief break you will then walk to the Hammer Village to explore the Hammer tribes (best known for elaborate hairstyles, body painting using clays and vegetable pigments to make fantastic patterns on their faces, chests, arms and legs), you may attend the bull jumping – if possible and available with luck.

Day 4: Turmi – Dessenech-Turmi- Fishing
In the morning, take a day trip to Omorate for fishing at Omo River Bank and also to visit the Dassenech tribe. Here you will fish at the Omo River by local boat. Afterwards, return to Turmi.
Day 5: Turmi – Konso-Arba Minch
After breakfast, depart from Turmi to Arba Minch via Key Afar and Konso. On the way you will visit Konso people village (Konso is classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site). The Konso people are known for their wooden statues, known as wakas, which are erected in honor of dead heroes as well as their innovative agricultural terracing. After the visit, proceed driving to Arba Minch,
Day 6: Arba Minch - Addis Ababa
Fly back to Addis Ababa.
