Mode of Transport: - Air Flight
Duration: - 7 Days/ 6 Nights
Day 1.ADDIS ABABA- Arrival at Bole International Airport (Addis Ababa) where you will be met by our representative and transferred to hotel.
Day 2.ADDIS ABABA-BAHAR DAR- In the morning fly to Bahir Dar. Check in to the hotel and drive some 35kms south of bahirdar to visit the majestic Blue Nile falls. Drive back to Axum for lunch and in the afternoon boat excusrtion on lake tana to visit the 16th and 17th century monasteries of Ura Kidane Meheret and Kibran Gabriel (visited only by men). Dinner and Overnight at hotel.
Day 3.BAHAR DAR-GONDER-Transfer to the airport and fly to Gondar. Visit the 17th century castles, the Bath of Fasiledes, the icon-rich monastery of Debre Birhan Silassie. Dinner and Overnight at hotel.
Day 4.GONDER-LALIBELA-Transfer to the airport and fly from Gondar to Lalibella. Visit the 11 rock hewn churches which are believed to be 8th wonders of the world built during the reign of king Lalibella in the 12th century. Dinner and Overnight at hotel.
Day 5.LALIBELA- In the Morning you will have a Mule excursion to Ashteon mariam, which is found on the top of the hills. Here you will be amazed the stunning beauty of the landscape, the agricultural fields and the local people. After lunch you will drive to Nakutoleab Moanstery. Dinner and Overnight at Hotel
Day 6. LALIBELLA-AXUM- Transfer to the airport and fly to Axum to enjoy the sight-seeing tour of Axum including the stale tombs, and the church of St. Mary of Zion. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 7.AXUM-ADDIS ABABA-DEPARTURE-Transfer to the airport for your flight to Addis and then you will have a city tour which includes trinity cathedral, mount entoto to view the panoramic view over the city and mercato-the largest open and yet colorful market in Africa. After an evening welfare dinner, you will transfer to hotel for your departure to home.
