Sales and Marketing Manager Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or related field
  • Proven experience working as Sales and Marketing Manager or similar role for 3 -5 years
  • Previous experience in the area of Mobile Money business, Air Time Sales or FMCG is an advantageous ¬†
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent analytical ability, problem-solving and management skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Detail-oriented¬†

Smart Digital Technologies (SDT) is a private Company registered legally under the Ethiopian law to engage in Digital Technologies, including Electronic Distribution Systems (EVD), Mobile Money and other telecom Services. SDT is dedicated to and has acquired latest technologies in electronic distribution, enabling mobile network operators, distributors and retailers reduce their capital expenditure, operating costs and increase revenue through digitization of the distribution and management of the entire value chain for Mobile Money and Electronic Distribution.

Smart Digital Technologies is looking for a Sales and Marketing Manager who can meet the below requirements and handle the responsibilities listed below.

Sales and Marketing Manager Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase sales volume generation for Airtime (EVD), telebirr and other Company products ¬†
  • Take strategic initiatives and partnerships to enter a new market
  • Developing an in-depth knowledge of company offerings, pricing, and policies, and improving existing sales proposals
  • Conducting research on market trends, demographics, pricing and competitor offerings
  • Analyzing of the research result
  • Design strategies for cost-cutting measures such as outsourcing none-core activities
  • Promote the company and its brands intensively through websites, social medias, expos, etc.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of campaigns
