Vehicle Sales Engineer position:
General Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible to manage customer proposal requests and coordinates company bids and create solutions and develop strategies while complying with customer requirements in order to winning bid competitions, while also involving in the vehicle sales activities.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate and assist in the processes of proposal preparation, ensuring quality, compelling bids are submitted in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with the Sales Supervisor to handle all tender processes: follow-up on magazine, website and other Medias, tender preparation, tender opening and follow-up status.
- Provide potential and current clients with excellent customer service to win bid completions.
- Work with the Sales Supervisor to coordinate incoming bid requests and proposal responses based on organized database about previous requests and responses.
- Assist the Sales Supervisor to prepare and submit a detailed response to enquiry on the bid documents and provide responses to any subsequent requests for clarification in a timely and efficient manner.
- Verify the bid management to ensure it is aligned with the organization's requirements.
- Provide professional support in building Profit and Loss scenarios (worst/ best case scenarios) and present it for further review by all concerned departments.
- Understand, interpret and respond to detailed technical specifications and documentation.
- Support the Sales Team by providing technical advice with regard to negotiations with the customer and convert those opportunities into purchase orders.
- Ensure that tenders are reviewed according to the frameworks given by the customers.
- Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, work with the vehicle sales staff to ensure effective and efficient selling process of vehicles when there is no bidding.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customer contacts.
- Prepare and submit performance reports.
