We are looking for Sales Engineer to be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals. The Sales Engineer's Duties will include sales presentation and product demonstrations, as well as maintaining extensive knowledge of the products' parts, functions, processes and assisting to close sales where technical expertise may be required to fit the clients' needs and negotiating contracts with potential clients. To be successful as a sales engineer, you should possess an in-depth knowledge of our company's technical products and services and you should be able to relate this knowledge in a way that is understandable to non-technical customers. You should be driven to achieve your sales goals and should have excellent sales and customer service skills and also superb interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities for Sales Engineer

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to existing and prospective customers.
  • Talk with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
  • Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery.
  • Plan and modify products to meet customer needs.
  • Help clients solve problems with installed equipment.
  • Plan detailed presentations that show clients your product info, pricing, and benefits.
  • Develop products or program suggestions for clients and successfully sell them.
  • Manage billing and delivery of solid products.
  • Meet with clients at appointments for sales presentations.
  • Follow up on solid products to ensure the customer is happy.
  • Acquire new customers by winning them over from competitors and discovering new opportunities.
  • Participate in the entire sales process – initial discovery, project review, design submission, component installation
  • Work with customers to present a technical perspective on the company’s sales offering.
  • Collaborate with the Local Operations Teams to obtain contractor quotes in support of sales opportunities.
  • Identifying areas for improvement and communicating these issues as well as possible solutions to upper management.
  • Provide alternative solutions as required to meet unique end user, component or installation criteria.
  • Assist with development of customer presentation tools and coordination of end-user site visits.
  • Develop sales and marketing strategies for key vertical market segments.
  • Provide company representation in industry forums, conferences, and related events
  • Interface with internal departments to ensure accuracy and timeliness of solution delivery to individual end users.
  • Develop and implement product and application training programs for Sales organization
  • Soliciting and logging client feedback and evaluating the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers.
  • Regularly review sales process improvements
  • Setting and achieving sales goals and quotas


  • Excellent analytical, written, verbal communications, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to maintain focus and business acumen under sometimes stressful sales/business negotiations.
